Parents and Teachers have no difficulty finding lesson plans for the 3Rs. But the 4th Rs - chaRacteR building - are hard to come by. Some would use uplifting biographies and stories with books or films- but, as effective as they can be, they don't cater to tactile learners, which describe almost all young children.
Help is here: The FukushimaHero51 lesson plans for use at home or school engage learners with hours of fun activities that enrich a lifetime.
Our mission is to bring the world's focus towards heroism and love for community. "The greatest want of the world is the want of men-men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole." This philosophy underlies our mission, for young people, who should be such men and women of the future.

What do you consider are essential attributes of a hero? Who would you nominate to the Heroes Hall of Fame, and why? [Do not confine to humans, as the story of Sgt Reckless shows]
Memorial Day: Few countries honor their hero-veterans like the USA. And the country comes together in tribute every year - on Memorial Day.
